This is a rare and fabulous George III mallet-shaped decanter. The clear glass body with three applied annular rings below a flat-topped, round-edged lip and rim. The front heightened with a gilt label and chain decorated with the word Brandy in elegant script letters. The base with a snapped pontil mark. Fitted with the original penny drop stopper. The stopper still retaining the original gilt letter "H" for Hollands, a rare occurence. Shown on the last image with the matching Brandy decanter, sold separately.

This is a magnificent Mid-Victorian solid silver and crystal claret jug by John Wilmin Figg, an illustrious and very collectable silversmith. Of generous proportions, the bulbous glass body mounted with an exquisite silver neck embossed with grotesque masks among fruiting vines and complete with Bacchanalian spout. The embossed hinged cover with a cast rampant lion. The engraved scroll handle joining a beaded silver girdle in the lower section of the jug.
